Ryan Lindgren has been placed on Injured reserve by the New York Rangers. After fighting Scott Mayfield in the Rangers’ second preseason game, Lingren sustained an upper-body injury, which kept him out for the rest of training camp.

Vesey will be forced to miss at least 24 days and 10 games. Lindgren, who skated on his own before practice on Monday, must sit out at least seven days.
