A state of emergency continues in Orange County, New York after hundreds of residents were asked to voluntarily evacuate while flames breached a line that firefighters created to act as a buffer between the wildfire and the neighborhood of Wah Ta Wah Park.

Over 100 New York families were asked to evacuate due to the Jennings Creek wildfire, which has been burning from Orange County to West Milford, New Jersey for over a week.
