Superintendents: The Alachua County school board extended interim superintendent Kamela Patton’s contract through June 2026, the Independent Florida Alligator reports. Teachers, who recently rejected the district’s 1.6% pay raise offer, complained about the board’s offer to Patton while teacher contracts remain unsettled, WCJB reports.
