West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus’ suspension has been upgraded to five games by the Football Association (FA) after his red card against Tottenham Hotspur in October. The 24-year-old was shown a straight red card for violent conduct following a video assistant referee (VAR) review in the second half of West Ham’s 4-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur on October 19.

West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus handed a further two-game ban after admitting violent conduct following his red card against Tottenham.

Mohammed Kudus will serve an extended ban after the West Ham United forward was sent off for violent conduct in the defeat at Tottenham Hotspur last month. Kudus kicked and slapped Tottenham’s Micky van de Ven before pushing his hands into the face of Pape Matar Sarr in an extraordinary meltdown towards the end of the 4-1 defeat.

Kudus was sent off in the Hammers' 4-1 defeat by Tottenham on October 19 following two separate violent altercations with Micky van de Ven and Pape Matar Sarr.
