Apple is developing a brand-new operating system called “homeOS" for its upcoming HomePod with display that will come in two versions.

A brand-new HomePod–complete with a display plus Apple Intelligence under the hood–might be coming sooner than we think. There’s been a flurry of HomePod rumors in the past week or so, and we’re not just talking pie-in-the-sky chatter about a screen-equipped HomePod that might arrive sometime in the next decade.

To start, the home would power the first smart home development of Apple, which would be its 'HomeAccessory' device, also known as the HomePod, with a touchscreen display on top of it. Reports claimed that this device would be the first to release next year, and would ship with the novel homeOS.
