Comic book writer Jenny Blake Isabella, who originated Black Lightning and other popular comic book characters in the 1960s and ’70s, publicly came out as a trans woman this week at the age of 73.

And since this is a comic story from the '70s, it's hardly the most canonical story. But what appeals to me is that it's only suggested that Plutar could be a young version of the Doctor.
