while the other HDR Peak 1000, focuses on providing 1000 nits of peak brightness. I use this monitor myself at home for both work and gaming, and it’s served me well ever since I got it.
It's all very welcome, but ultimately none of it really pushes more affordable monitors towards being actual HDR displays. It's still only HDR 1000 and HDR 1400 that require full-array local dimming.
