A cold front is bringing freezing temperatures and hazardous conditions to millions across the country this month.

Blizzard warnings were issued for areas near the Gulf Coast as a massive winter storm hits the South. Nearly 250 million Americans are under cold weather advisories or extreme cold warnings.

Winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories are in effect across the area, with significant impacts expected late Tuesday afternoon and overnight. A winter storm warning is in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to 9 AM Wednesday. This warning includes Aiken, Calhoun, Clarendon, and Orangeburg counties.
