Windber senior linebacker Lucas Oleksa was named a Class 1A all-state linebacker by Pennsylvania Football Writers on Friday.

The 57 students who participated included Jacob Shawley as Louis Armstrong, Austin King as Julius Caesar and Lorelei Miller as Marie Curie.

The students learned about the lives of 57 people, including politicians, musicians, writers, sports figures, scientists and business entrepreneurs.
