Fire crews are battling to cut off the spreading blazes before potentially strong winds return that could push the flames toward some of the city’s most famous landmarks.
Officials said on Saturday the wildfire that started on Dec. 14 has burned 8,337 acres in the Tonto and Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests and is 75% contained.
