It looks like it's going to be a dry night across Iowa for Week 8 of high school football. Temperatures will start out hovering near 70 but drop rapidly once the sun goes down. Should hang around the 60s for most of the evening, dipping into the high 50s at the back-end of the night.

Our Football Friday Night Game of the Week is Southeast Polk (4-3) and fourth-ranked Dowling Catholic (6-1). We'll have a crew at Valley Stadium in West Des Moines, where kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. The Maroons opened the season 2-0 before a 23-16 Week 3 loss at Ankeny. They've won their last four, averaging 37 points per game.
