Well, Deadline gave us some good news that two Brat Pack members, Rob Lowe and Demi Moore, are actively trying to make this happen with a possible St. Elmo’s Fire sequel. The Parks and Recreation actor spoke on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast about recent updates of the upcoming movie and I’m so psyched for it:

Before Lowe could answer, Ripa then asked about the Brat Pack—a group of young stars in the 1980s that included Lowe, Moore, Ally Sheedy, Molly Ringwald, Kevin Bacon, Matthew Broderick, and more—in general, asking, "Did you all date each other? Was it like, just—was it a big romp?”

Decades later, Lowe says he still keeps in touch with Moore, and they are in a group chat exploring a possible St. Elmo’s Fire sequel. According to the star, the entire case is on board. “It’s going a little more slowly than I would have liked, but that’s a good thing because we’re trying to find the right writer and the right story," he shared.
