After a months long investigation, two men charged with attempted murder are awaiting court appearances in connection to a shooting that happened in July that seriously injured a man.

William Ciccoli Jr., 42, was struggling with Cpl. Anthony Fischer while another officer was attempting to place him under arrest when he grabbed Fischer’s gun and fired one shot, authorities said.

A different investigation discovered that the same 12-year-old is the suspect in another crime and was charged with armed robbery. Around 2 p.m. March 1, 2024, deputies were called for an incident of “strong armed robbery” at the 2200 block of East Boundary Road, the sheriff’s department said.

Michael Stacy, 34, is charged with attempted murder, felonious assault, attempted aggravated arson, abduction and trespass in a habitation. He is scheduled to appear in court for his arraignment at 1 p.
