Adobe Photoshop’s newest beta feature is a tool designed to allow teams to work on the same project simultaneously. On January 14, Adobe announced the beta of Live Co-Editing, a tool that will allow multiple people to work on the same photograph or design at once.

Adobe is giving private beta users a chance to test out a long-anticipated feature — allowing more than one person to access and edit Photoshop documents simultaneously.

The power required to edit batches of 10,000 images is presumably expensive. Adobe says there will be a fee to use these new tools based on “consumption” — which likely means users will need to pay for a premium Adobe Firefly plan that provides generative credits that can then be “spent” on the features.

Now, multiple creators can simultaneously access and edit documents from different computers , unlocking shared creativity and collaboration.

Available for beta testing on both the desktop (beta) and web apps, this feature is designed to make collaboration smoother, faster, and more intuitive.
