Sacramento took a beating against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night and allowed a career-high 41 points to Aaron Wiggins. Despite the loss, Kings forward DeMar DeRozan provided a silver by passing sharpshooter Ray Allen for the 28th most points in NBA history (h/t Jorge Sierra | HoopsHype ).

Now with Fox possibly on the move, DeRozan is looking ahead in his career. The 35-year-old is in his final few seasons of his NBA career and he is clearly wanting to play on a contending team, which the Kings may not be if they deal Fox.

The "Light the Beam" era of the Sacramento Kings is rapidly devolving into yet another dark time for the forlorn franchise. De'Aaron Fox's refusal to sign a contract extension has forced the Kings to recoup whatever value they can retain on the trade market before the Feb.
