The suit comes in the wake of last month’s announcement that the celebrated-but-embattled chef would close all of her remaining restaurants.

According to the lawsuit filed Wednesday, the James Beard Foundation award-winning chef owes "a vast unpaid amount of taxes" from her seven Boston restaurants that accrued for years.
