CJI DY Chandrachud recently shared how he prayed to god for solution to Ayodhya Ram Mandir dispute. He was part of the Supreme Court's historic verdict allowing the temple's construction and noted the complexities involved in such cases.

Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on Sunday said he had prayed to God for a solution to the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute and asserted God will find a way if one has faith. He was addressing residents of his native Kanhersar village in Khed taluka where he was felicitated.

Speaking to the residents of his native Kanhersar village in Maharashtra’s Khed taluka during his felicitation ceremony on Sunday, the CJI mentioned the case M Siddiq v Mahant Suresh Das, commonly known as the Ayodhya dispute, stating that it was difficult to arrive at a solution in the matter.
