If you cast your mind all the way back to December of 2022, you may remember a story here at Pure Xbox about a group of random "gamers" who were suing Microsoft over the company's attempt to acquire Activision Blizzard.

Xbox Game Pass has had some pretty big months over the past years with drops including games like Grand Theft Auto 5, but this second half of October brings a lineup that’s going to overshadow everything before it.

On Wednesday, Xbox unveiled its new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Accessories Collection. It features two customizable Call of Duty: Black Ops 6-themed controller variants: a Wireless Controller and an Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Thanks to the addition of a console wrap, your XSX console can also participate in the action.

Black Ops 6 will be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming at launch, along with two other Call of Duty titles later this month.

Microsoft has made the $1 Xbox Game Pass trial unavailable just as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's launch is around the corner.

Microsoft first stopped its $1 trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass in March last year, before bringing it back and nerfing it down to just 14 days instead of a full month. The Xbox maker then briefly removed the $1 trial just days before Starfield ’s debut in September.

The eclectic mix of stuff coming to Xbox Game Pass over the next few weeks includes some Call of Duty games, some nasty zombies, StarCraft, a South Park RPG, and a wonderful indie game about a growing hole.

Black Ops 6 makes its debut, Microsoft has removed its £1/$1 Game Pass trial deal. As you can see in the image below, taken by Eurogamer this morning, the Game Pass page currently only shows the full prices for a month on the subscription service.

Black Ops 6 is just around the corner, and many fans are still wondering if the new Activision game will be playable on Xbox Cloud. There’s good news for all of them, as the company has just confirmed that 3 titles from the franchise will be coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming via Xbox Game Pass.
