The show is part of Coldplay’s record-breaking “Music of the Spheres World Tour,” which has become the highest-grossing rock tour in history. The band will perform in Mumbai’s D.Y. Patil Stadium on Jan 18, 19 and 21, prior to concerts at Ahmedabad on Jan. 25 and 26.

On a tour that has seen the group play stadiums around the globe for multiple nights, the Republic Day gig at the 132,000-capacity Narendra Modi Stadium will be their biggest-ever show. The broadcast will including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the group.

From what is understood, the performance, set to take place in Ahmedabad on Republic Day, will be the band’s largest-ever stadium show in the country.
