How about a donut to wash down that Big Mac? Krispy Kreme is giving out free donuts to McDonald's customers to hype the first phase of its expansion into the fast-food chain's restaurants.

From Oct. 10 through Oct. 14, Krispy Kreme guests can get a free original glazed doughnut when they show a paper or digital receipt from a McDonald’s order placed in that same time frame.
