Luckily 1 TB, 2 TB, and even 4 TB drives are still ... These are slower than NVMe drives but they're still a huge improvement on a traditional hard drive.
You're still better off getting an NVMe M.2 SSD for games and your operating system, though. You'll only find a few 1 TB SSDs going cheaper than this Lexar drive, and none are as good value.
Generally, expect to pay about $45 to $50 for a good 1TB SATA or NVMe Gen 3 drive, and $70 to $75 for a 1TB NVMe Gen 4 drive. But the easier guideline is to just look for discounts of at least 20 ...
