"Sorry, Baby," a drama starring Eva Victor, Naomi Ackie and Lucas Hedges, has sold to A24 following its Sundance premiere.

A24 is closing an acquisition deal for Sorry, Baby, written and directed by Eva Victor, after the drama premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.

A24 is closing on Eva Victor’s Sundance hit Sorry, Baby, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Sunday. Victor’s film — which she wrote, directed and starred in — tells the story of a college professor recovering from sexual assault. Per the logline, “Something bad happened to Agnes. But life goes on… for everyone around her, at least.”

A24 has acquired the rights to "Sorry, Baby," a darkly comedic drama written, directed by and starring Eva Victor that premiered at Sundance this past week. The deal is reported to be for $8 million.

Naomi Ackie and Lucas Hedges co-star alongside Victor in the film that competed in the U.S. Dramatic Competition.
