A Saudi company will invest $5 billion to build an artificial intelligence data centre in the futuristic city of NEOM, state media reported.

Founded in 2023, DataVolt previously announced a plan to invest $5bn in developing data centres across Saudi Arabia, without specifying the project's location. DataVolt is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi public-private partnership-focused developer and investor Vision Invest.
