Clayton Kershaw stated that he will be returning for another season with the Los Angeles Dodgers but the contract he plays on is uncertain.

Kershaw said on Monday that he planned to pitch again in 2025 but was not clear if he would test free agency. Whether he would be available for a full season remains to be seen, he said Tuesday.

Just before the start of the playoffs, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced Kershaw would be out for the remainder of the season due to a toe injury. He last pitched on Aug. 30 when he lasted only one inning against the Arizona Diamondbacks before he left the game due to a bone spur in his left big toe.
